Anglia Ruskin University London
ARU London campus - LCA BUSINESS SCHOOL was founded in 2000 by Ravi Gill FCCA as the London College of Accountancy.
Offers an exciting portfolio of undergraduate degree programmes in business and finance. Choose to specialize
in international business, accounting, marketing, law or HRM. Also on offer are full-time hospitality and healthcare degrees with work placements.
ARU London’s ethos is simple: to provide highly competitively priced, top quality business education geared
to the contemporary student’s need for flexibility as well as the employer’s need for direct relevance.
The School’s initial focus was on professional courses leading to awards by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Both full-time and part-time ACCA courses were offered in the past.
ARU London launched an MBA programme through a partnership agreement with Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh.
In 2007, following the establishment of a relationship with Anglia Ruskin University, the School expanded its portfolio of academic courses to include a range of both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
In spring 2012 the School successfully underwent a review and revalidation of its academic agreement with
Anglia Ruskin University and at the same time secured formal approval from Anglia Ruskin to increase the number of degrees it delivered. ARU London now offers eight undergraduate degree programmes covering
the main business, management, accounting and finance specialism’s; an MBA and an MSc International Accounting and Finance. In spring 2013, formal validation and approval was granted by Anglia Ruskin
University to offer an MSc International Marketing and an MSc International Project Management.
A location in the heart of London. In early 2011 ARU London moved its campus to its present location at 19 Charterhouse Street, London. Moments from St Pauls, the Barbican, and the City, the campus comprises five floors of teaching space in addition to offices for academics and administrators, a library, computer labs and student common rooms.
In the early days of ARU London, the School attracted mostly international students but since September 2011
the School has recruited significant students from across the UK and elsewhere in the EU.
