Private Residence Accommodation
Private Halls
Purpose built residences offered by private companies are becoming more popular with students. Most of these accommodation offer more modern facilities and are well located near universities. In the private halls you can have your studio room(includes kitchen and bathroom) or en suite room(includes your own bathroom, but with share kitchen and dining facilities)
Private Housing
Another option for students is to live in private rented housing. This option is for students wishing to live with their own friends having exclusive use of all facilities or because the university accommodation is full. Suitable also for individuals who do not form part of a group but share the kitchen and bathroom facilities with other students.
It’s very important that you understand the legal obligations and exactly what the rent includes. If you have fiends from the UK you are advised to ask them to check the tenancy agreement or ask your university for assistance.
Homestay
The other option is a homestay accommodation option. Homestay is where you live with a family that will offer you your own room, but share the kitchen and bathroom facilities. Homestays have gone through regular inspections by the university or college to ensure that they are suitable families.
